THE PIKE RIVER MINE TRAGEDY

On the 24 of November 2010 29 men lost there lifes working in the mine at Greymouth in the south island.
There was a big explosion on friday one man manged to get out of the explosion the workers couldn't get
 out of  mine because of all of gases wer traped in the mine. They sent in a robot that was built to disarm bombs but part way throw the mine it broke down so they sent another one from Australia. The youngest worker was 17 and just stared working the oldest was 62. I Charlie would like to say a big thanks to all of the people who gave a hand i think the parents , partners ,children, girl friends would really thank the men who tried.

RED NOSE DAY

On friday they 19 of Noveber 2010 it was red nose day. Room8 all dress up in red to support the cure kids we also had red nose and also had a fun day  

Giving Athlelics a go

On thrusday it was athlelics I was feeling nervis I didn't now if I was going to place in the events.
I just gave it my best and I made it in to cops I was realy pleased with my self. I came 1,1,2,2,2,3

I'am doing my speach about the moon.Yesterday we done our introdution today I'am on to my body of my speach.It has to be at least three mintes long the moon is cool

Athletics is coming

In there weeks time it will be Athletics. I have been trying real hard in sprints. It has been hard to change my style but iam inproving. Hopful if iam good enough I will make it in to cops. I like long Jump the most.

Why I chose this particular theme
